The Journey So Far

Frank Wolf

Frank Wolf is an explorer, writer, and filmmaker whose career has been defined by over 25 years of self-propelled wilderness travel.

Named one of Canada's Top 90 Explorers of all time by Canadian Geographic, Frank has documented over 20,000 km of the world’s most remote regions. His expeditions—ranging from the first single-season canoe crossing of Canada (C2C) to rowing the Northwest Passage—are characterized by a unique blend of extreme physical challenge and environmental advocacy.

His work as a journalist and photographer has been featured in Explore, Canoe & Kayak, and Canadian Geographic. As an author, his latest memoir Two Springs, One Summer (2024) explores the interior landscape of a life spent in the wild, while his award-winning films continue to bring global attention to the fragile northern ecosystems he calls home.
